There are several Pre-Pilates exercises that prepare the body and muscles for doing Pilates. If you're new to Pilates or it's been a while since you've done Pilates even Pre & Post-Natal the Pre-Pilates exercises are great to add into your practice.
As you may or may not know, Pilates works on the deeper muscles that stabilize and support your posture. Pre-Pilates exercises were developed to help you find and connect to those deeper muscles.
Examples of some of those exercises are:
Pelvic Tilts
Pelvic Clock
Heel Slides
Marching
Toe Taps
Oblique Rolls
Sternum Drops
Tail Wag
Opposite Arm & Leg Reach
